Mental Health First Aid for Youth
This course is designed to teach parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, school staff, neighbors, health and human services workers, and other caring citizens how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health,
addiction challenge, or is in crisis.
Mental Health First Aid for Adults
Mental Health First Aid provides the essential skills needed to support those with mental health challenges and substance misuse challenges and explore self-care. This course covers topics such as listening skills, community resources, the impact of early intervention, and strategies to use when supporting someone with
worsening signs of mental health challenges.
Mental Health Literacy
Understanding mental health literacy helps us take better care of ourselves, our loved ones, and our communities. It empowers and provides us with the skills that we need to help build better lives, better self-care, and stronger communities.
Mental Health First Aid for Older Adults
This course improves the quality of life and teaches how to assist and support older adults who may be experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge. This certification equips you with the confidence and skills to engage in conversations that help older adults live comfortably.
Question, Persuade Refer (QPR)
QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer — the 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. Much like CPR helps the physical body, QPR helps the brain. Critical information for those who want to help.
